Diploma in Safeguarding

Join us in growing the network of safeguarders

This course is offered each year in the English language during the first semester (October to February).

This interdisciplinary and interactive five-month program forms advisors, officers, and trainers for the field of safeguarding.

Entre febrero y junio de 2021 este programa se ofrecerá en lengua española.

Course Description

Students acquire specialized and interdisciplinary competencies within the field of safeguarding. They are asked to relate the content of the course to their own cultural reality and therefore learn to critically assess both. The course challenges students to practically apply their newly gained competencies through a series of real life tasks specific to each student’s cultural background. All successful graduates develop a comprehensive range of cognitive and practical skills, which allows them to solve the challenges they will encounter in their safeguarding activities and deal with them in creative ways. This course fosters the growth of students’ abilities to effectively create change and implement preventative measures.
